Map ref 604494.  From the A379, halfway between Yealmpton and Modbury, turn south towards Holbeton.  Don't take the turnings to Holbeton, but stay on the main road for about 2 miles to a crossroads with 5 ways, where you turn right.  Borough Farm is a few hundred yards ahead on a right hand bend

Although hard to find, the trip is rewarded with one of my top three ciders, always very good, clear and not expensive. Recently, John Walters-Symons has started to use a fine filtration unit for some of his production.  He thinks it adds a little unwanted flavour, so he is only using it when pin brightness and improved keeping properties are required.  Not to be confused with Symond's Cider and Perry, the large company in Herefordshire, which makes Scrumpy Jack

If you happen to find yourself in Holbeton, there is good food and drink at the Mildmay Colours Inn, which brews its own beer, so why not go there anyway!
